What does Ornan's Floor mean? "The name, Ornan's Floor, comes from 1 Chronicles - chapter 21. It's a story about King David and a guy named Ornan. David is commanded to buy Ornan's threshing floor, build an altar on it, and make a sacrifice. David asks Ornan is he can buy the floor, and Ornan offers to give it to him. David refuses, saying that he will not offer something to God that costs him nothing."
